As a child, summer vacations included visiting my Mom’s homeland, the beautiful Country of Greece. It always involved visiting family in the metropolitan city of Thessaloniki, and vacationing in Halkidiki.

From the time I was little, and learning the Greek language, I would hear my Mom say, in a very happy tone, “pame volta!” She was always eager to go outside, go for a walk, and be social. She loved the outdoors.

Today, I share with you the memories of my childhood, and my Mom, through Volta, a company bringing products to those who enjoy a fun lifestyle.

All our shoes are proudly made with quality in my country of heritage, Greece. We are proud of the high quality standard and specifications incorporated in the manufacturing and materials of these shoes. The shoes are made of superior quality canvas, and printed with non-toxic inks which are friendly to both the environment and when in contact with skin. The outer sole is made of a durable rubber, and is more flexible than the common sole made of PVC. If fact, the rubber of the inner soles of all our shoes have been specially treated to prevent any unpleasant odors, which sometimes occur after prolonged use with other shoes. As a bonus, the outer soles are constructed with a slip-resistant technology, helping us to avoid falling on slippery surfaces.
